Department of Tourism (DoT), Government of Himachal Pradesh will organise a two-day road show in the capital on October 23-24, 2010 to promote the state as a favoured tourist destination. The road show will start with a business meet on ‘Unforgettable Himachal’, where tourism potential of the state, strategy to be followed and investment opportunities in tourism sector will be highlighted by the state government.
Arun Kumar Sharma, Director Tourism and Civil Aviation, Government of Himachal Pradesh said that Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh will be the chief guest on the occasion. Domestic tour operators, environmentalists, travel writers and producers are likely to participate in the meet.
Sharma added that an exhibition showcasing 'Unforgettable Himachal' will be organised at Dilli Haat on October 24, in which stalls exhibiting tourism and state handicraft will be put up. Himachal food festival will also be organised for the people.
