Hilton Worldwide, one of the world's biggest hotel chains, has opened its seventh hotel in India's national capital region of Delhi (NCR).
The Garden Inn will be Hilton's 12th hotel in India, and is located in Gurgaon, a satellite city of Delhi home to the biggest number of IT companies in North India.
The 201-room hotel, the second under the Hilton Garden Inn brand in India, is located near the prime corporate, commercial and residential districts and is about 5 miles from DLF Cyber City, the central business hub in Gurgaon.
"Each of the 201 guestrooms, including six suites, at Hilton Garden Inn Gurgaon Baani Square features expansive city views, comfortable Serta beds, a spacious working desk with an ergonomic SAYL chair by Herman Miller, a 32-inch LED television with CD / DVD player, two telephones with voicemail, electronic safe, mini refrigerator, tea and coffee making facility, and an iron and ironing board," Hilton Worldwide, which runs more than 3,900 hotels and resorts, said.
The Garden Inn is positioned as an "upscale mid-priced hotel" targeting travelers, mostly businessmen. Hotel Leela Kempinski is located at the entry of Gurgaon from Delhi, and is perhaps the biggest hotel in the satellite city as of now.
Besides Delhi, Hiton also runs hotels in Mumbai, Chennai, Shillim (near Mumbai), Vadodara and Goa.
