Global hospitality major Hilton Worldwidetoday said it has signed a management agreement withAmrit Bottlers to open a hotel property in Lucknow as part of its expansion plans in India.
The company has signed a management agreement with Amrit Bottlers Pvt Ltd for a Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Hilton Worldwide said in a statement.
The hotel will be owned by Amrit Bottlers and managed by Hilton Worldwide. The hotel under the Hilton Garden Inn brand will feature 125 guest rooms and suites, it added.
Commenting on the development, Hilton Worldwide Asia Pacific President Martin Rinck said: "India is a key strategic market for Hilton Worldwide. Presently, we operate hotels and resorts in Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chennai, Vadodara, Pune, Goa and Shillim."
The company also has robust plans for expansion as it plans to open more properties in near future.
"Over the next eight to ten months, we anticipate extending our network to include Bangalore, Trivandrum, Agra and Jaipur," he added.
