Haryana Tourism adopts a multi-pronged strategy to boost tourism

The department is expanding ‘banqueting and conferencing’ facilities, rooms in tourist complexes are being renovated apart from setting up amusement parks

To make Haryana a tourist hotspot, the tourism department of the State has adopted a multi-pronged strategy to improve its services.

“The department is expanding ‘banqueting and conferencing’ facilities, rooms in tourist complexes are being renovated, several hotel management, catering institutes and amusement parks are also being set up in the state,” Haryana’s Principal Secretary (Tourism) Vijai Vardhan said here on Friday.

New banquet and conference halls have already been added at eight-nine tourist complexes, he said, adding, three more were being added at complexes in Panchkula, Hisar and Yamunanagar and another has been approved for the complex at Rai.
