GoAir spreads its wings to Southern and Northern India with increased fleet strength

GoAir has introduced a new flight from Bengaluru to Goa from 21st August 2012 and also has introduced a new flight from Lucknow to Delhi and Mumbai from 21st August 2012.  

The Bengaluru flight schedule has been devised to offer perfect opportunities for round trip travels on the same day, with a morning departure from Bengaluru and an early evening return from Goa and is part of GoAir’s strategy to strengthen its position in South India where it presently operates from Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin and Goa. With this new service, Go Air’s total flights in Bengaluru amount to 84 per week, linking Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Goa. Go Air has furthermore improved its network so that passengers to/from Bengaluru can easily reach many destinations within India, such as Chandigarh, Patna, Srinagar, Jaipur, and Jammu. 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Giorgio De Roni, CEO, GoAir, said, “It gives me immense pleasure to roll-out these new flights between Bengaluru and Goa and Lucknow and Delhi. They will strengthen our position in Bengaluru and Lucknow and represent a further step in our long term strategy to increase our presence in South and north India. Within this financial year GoAir will receive an additional brand new aircraft and more flights are planned to/from Bengaluru”
