The 2012 GBTA Convention that is slated to begin today will have the largest buyer attendance in the show’s 44 year history, with almost 1,400 buyers registered. GBTA Convention reached the 1,000 buyer mark nearly three months before the start of the event. This year’s 2012 GBTA Convention is being held in Boston, Massachusetts from July 22-25 and will feature two former U.S. Presidents and compelling sessions with the who’s who in the travel industry.
The Global Business Travel Association will bring together thousands of travel industry leaders, suppliers and managers to discuss challenges, policy trends and potential profit areas during its annual convention.
The convention, which runs through Wednesday, will also feature keynote addresses from former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. "Saturday Night Live" comedian Seth Meyers is slated to speak Monday.
