GVK Group will bid to manage the second airport--Navi Mumbai Airport as economic growth spurs travel demand as Domestic air traffic may surge fourfold to 180 million passengers annually by 2020, 

The government gave ‘in-principle’ approval to the Navi Mumbai Airport in July 2007, according to the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s (MoCA’s) website.
