After the success of white water rafting,Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has decided to offer more activities in adventure tourism.
The GTDC recently approved a couple of proposals that are likely to boost up adventure tourism in the state.
GTDC has also approved a proposal by MEHAIR, a Mumbai based company for commencement of seaplane services in the State.
"Initially, MEHAIR will deploy one single engine Cessna plane with nine passenger capacity and depending upon the response additional planes will be brought in. The agreement with MEHAIR will be executed shortly," Cabral said.
Besides commencement of sea planes in the state, it has decided to introduce various adventure sports at Mayem Lake in Bicholim.
"New activities like floating barbeque, zip lines, etc will be started on a trial basis, starting from forthcoming tourist season," said Nilesh Cabral, GTDC chairman.
