GITB 2011 to levy a refundable US$ 300 fee on buyers to ensure meeting commitments

The fee has been put in place to secure improved meeting commitments from the buyers in order to offer better value to both, the buyers and suppliers.

The Great India Travel Bazaar (GITB) will witnesses the first time introduction of US$ 300 as refundable fee from foreign buyers in order to secure the total meeting commitments from them. Speaking at a recently organised GITB road show In Delhi, Rahul Chakravarty, Additional Director, FICCI informed that the fee has been put in place to secure improved meeting commitments from the buyers in order to offer better value to both, the buyers and suppliers.

The fee will be refunded to the buyers on the last day after they have completed their required meeting commitments with the suppliers.
