Government circuit house and PWD Rest house sprawling in two acres of land in Amritsar will be demolished to make way for a Five-Star Hotel.
Punjab Infrastructure Regulatory Authority Chairperson Tajinderpal Kaur said the land has been handed over to private players under the 'Public Private Partnership' scheme.
In the Five-Star Hotel building "a suitable space" will be given to the new circuit house.
