Fiji delegation in India to promote tourism

The Attorney General and Minister for Tourism Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is in India to educate Indian travel consultants on the potential Fiji offers as an attractive destination for their clients. 

At a workshop in New Delhi, which saw 109 trade agents taking part, Sayed-Khaiyum briefed trade and media officials on developments in Fiji with the procurement of the Airbus aircraft for Air Pacific and the introduction of the luxury casino and convention centre by September 2013. 

The Tourism Minister is accompanied by a Tourism Fiji Board member Josephine Smith-Moffat, officials from Tourism Fiji and Air Pacific, Fijian tour managers and representatives from various resorts.
