EgyptAir looks to normalise its operations by year-end

The strategies being planned to increase passenger volumes include inviting delegations from different countries to Egypt.

The political turmoil in Egypt had a direct impact on flight operations and passenger volumes, but the Chief of Egypt's national carrier is very optimistic that things will be back to normal by the year-end as per a PTI report.

"We hope before the end of this year, we are able to normalise operations," Chief Executive Officer of EgyptAir Holding Company, Hussein Massoud, told visiting Indian journalists here.

"We started six weeks ago with Italian delegation, followed by Swiss, Turkish and Spanish delegations of tour operators," he said.
