As part of its efforts to spread awareness and educate tourism service providers and local government officials on the urgent need to ensure sustainable tourism practices are followed, the Eco Tourism Society of India (ESOI) has launched its series of workshops across various states in partnership with WWF-India. After the third workshop which was held in Cochin, ESOI has announced that the fourth will be held in Bhopal. Titled "Environmental law & responsible tourism," the workshop will be held from April 30 to May 01, 2010 at Hotel Jehanuma Palace in Bhopal.
The workshop is open to any individual or organisation providing services in tourism industry, such as hoteliers, resort/lodge owners, travel and tour operators, airlines, transport providers, NGO's, consultants, environmentalists, government officials from tourism, forests, faculty and students from hospitality management institutes.
