Dubai will have the busiest international airport in the world by 2015 which will be handling around 98.5 million passengers by 2020, a UK-based travel group has said.
According to the new findings released by Dubai Airports as part of their ten year traffic forecast for Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum, passenger numbers will rise by 7.2 per cent and 6.7 per cent respectively from next year, Beat the Brochure said.
According to Daniel Ox of Beat the Brochure, the news from Dubai Airports makes for very positive reading for travellers heading to Dubai as it shows that more and more people are choosing to travel to Dubai - in fact Dubai Airports predict that 75 million passengers will have passed through the airport by 2015.
