Dubai-based hospitality company Jumeirah Group says it has signed a deal to operate an upcoming luxury hotel at Lower Parel in central Mumbai, marking the luxury brands expansion into India.
Jumeirah, which is the operator of Dubai's Burj Al Arab seven-star hotel, said the hotel in Mumbai will open in 2017 and offer 470 spacious rooms, suites and serviced apartments, along with wide range of restaurants and bars.
"We will unveil the name of the hotel and further details about the Mumbai project at the next stage of the property's development in mid-2013," a company spokesman said.
