The latest Hotel Price Index (HPI). report by Hotels.com indicates a clear price rise in hotels in popular destinations across the country. One key reason for the price rise could be the increase in domestic travel because the Rupee has struggled against foreign currencies. Indians have become more cost conscious and are possibly making trips to destinations within India.
