Domestic air travel declined only in India, grew in all other markets in June: IATA

According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), across all markets except India, domestic air travel showed an upward trend in June compared to the same month last year.

June was the second month in a row when India's domestic air travel fell after seven years of almost uninterrupted double digit growth.

"Japan's domestic market continues to look flat. Brazil recorded domestic demand growth of 13.8%... Chinese domestic air travel grew 7.8%... US domestic demand was up 0.8% compared to the previous June," IATA said in its latest report.
