China and Nepal signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Tuesday to jointly boost tourism. The agreement was signed in Lhasa at the sixth session of the China-Nepal tourism joint coordinating committee, which was convened on Monday, media reported.
The two sides agreed to promote tourism development and cooperation as well as the opening-up of ports and resumption of direct passenger land transport between Lhasa and Kathmandu.
