Centara Hotels & Resorts will operate Khum Phaya Resort & Spa in Chiang Mai. The resort, developed at an investment cost of 1 billion Baht, opened in October 2009, which will now operate under the Centara Boutique Collection brand. Khum Phaya Resort & Spa features 80 Superior Rooms and Deluxe Rooms, which are of 40 square metres with a choice of upper floor accommodation or ground floor with direct pool access, and with all rooms decorated in the style of a Lanna house.

Besides, there are four Villa Suites, with a minimum of 92 square metres of space and each with their own private spa, outdoor Jacuzzi and private garden. The largest of the accommodations is the Phaya Villa Suite, a 290 square metres complex comprising three one-bedroom Villa Pool Suites and a private swimming pool. All villas include private butler and personal housemaid service.

Facilities include a large lagoon style free-form swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, business centre, banquet and meeting room that can accommodate 120 guests for a cocktail reception and a restaurant serving authentic Northern Thai cuisine along with international and fusion dishes.
