Cathay Pacific Airways today announced that passengers can enjoy a new level of luxury when travelling between Delhi and Hong Kong with the introduction of the airline’s award-winning new Business Class cabin and its new Premium Economy Class cabin on the route.

From 29 October 2012, Cathay Pacific aircraft operating between the two cities will feature a three-class configuration - new Business Class, Premium Economy Class and the new long-haul Economy Class seats. The airline’s new Business Class cabin is the result of a genuine collaboration between its customers and the Cathay Pacific team.

The product design allows passengers to control their degree of privacy and openness while enjoying the renowned personal service that sets Cathay Pacific apart from other airlines. As one enters the cabin, the sense of space and openness immediately catches the passenger’s attention.

\Clean, sculpted lines define private, lie-flat seats with direct aisle access. Abstract patterns, richly woven fabrics, fresh-cut orchids and original artwork harmonise to create a warm, premium residential feel. After listening to its customers and incorporating their feedback into the product design, Cathay Pacific was voted “World’s Best Business Class” in the 2012 Skytrax World Airline Awards™ in July, in which more than 18 million airline passengers from around the world voted.

Cathay Pacific’s new Premium Economy Class was designed with the entire customer experience in mind. It features a quieter, more spacious cabin than the traditional Economy Class with between 26 and 34 seats per aircraft. The seat pitch is 38 inches – six inches more than Economy Class – and the seat itself is wider and has a bigger recline.
