A cable-stayed bridge, worth Rs 145 crore, will come up for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir that will connect the state with neighbouring Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
The bridge is being constructed on river Ravi at Basholi belt and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi will lay the foundation stone of the project.
It will connect Doda-Kishtiwar region and Badwerah tourist resort to the state and also link Kashmir with Punjab and Himachal Pradesh
