Marriott International Inc will launch of 266 room hotel in Bangalore in 2011. The property will be branded The Ritz-Carlton, the luxury brand of the group. Marriott already has 11 properties operational across India & will introduce the two new brands - The Ritz-Carlton and Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott in India.
Currently, Marriott International Inc has signed management contracts for the following properties in India - 107 rooms Courtyard by Marriott Kochi/Cochin International Airport owned by Lulu Flight Kitchen Private Ltd (opening by 2012); 101 rooms Courtyard by Marriott Bhopal, owned by DB Malls Private Ltd and (opening Q2 2011); 160 rooms Courtyard by Marriott Chembur (Mumbai) owned by Acron Hotels Private Ltd (first phase is scheduled to open in 2013 with additional 76 rooms expected to be added later), 150 rooms Courtyard by Marriott Nashik, owned by Wasan Hotels Private Ltd (opening by 2013); 200 rooms Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad Hitec City, owned by Future InfraIndia Private Ltd. (opening by 2013); 365 rooms Jaipur Marriott Hotel, owned by Serveall Land Developers Private Ltd (opening by 2011) and 150 rooms Renaissance Raipur Hotel, owned by Krish Hotels Private Ltd scheduled to open by 2013.
