Bangalore Metro to come up with 26 rooms Youth Hostel

Bangalore Metro will be a stakeholder in the International Youth Hostel at Srigandakavalu Housing Colony near Kotigepalya bus stop.

Together, the Youth Hostel Association of India (YHAI) and BMRC, signed a MoU on Wednesday to launch the project. The metro corporation will also utilize 26 dwelling units for the benefit of travelers visiting Bangalore.

 

N Sivasailam, BMRCL managing director said, "The project has been started taking into account the contribution and good work done by YHAI in promoting international and national tourism. The hostel will be helpful for budget travelers and frequent travelers coming to the city."

He also shared his feedback on the work YHAI hostels have done in many other countries by providing normal tariff during his foreign trips.
