India is also one of the world’s fastest growing outbound travel markets, with the United Nations World Tourism Organisation predicting 50 million outbound travellers by 2020. It is currently Australia’s 10th most valuable inbound tourism market, with 148,000 visitors spending A$867 million in 2011.
