Celebrating the Argentine Bicentennial, The Consulate of Argentina in Mumbai presents Bella Argentina, an exhibition of images from Argentina by Aneesh Bhasin - a multi award winning photographer based in Mumbai & Subhash Motwani - Travel  Educator, Tour Consultant and Travel writer with 22 years experience in the tourism industry who shares his travel experiences thru’ writing and photography

The images feature the stunning landscapes of Argentina. The landscapes include the amazing Perito Moreno glacier to Iguazu falls to the Salta Salt Pans. The images give a good idea of the amazing diversity of Argentina, which is little known in India.

Exhibition gets touchy feely and big -
The exhibition also features a massive print, which is almost 20feet by 4feet. This ultra wide and hi resolution image was the result of stitching 30 images together, making it one of the largest images to be exhibited in Mumbai. This image is printed directly on canvas on HP Z series printers.

The exhibition also features an image embedded with touch screens, making the actual visual result variable as per the visitor’s preference. The image can be turned into 16 variations depending how a visitor plays around with the screens.  For once, you will be allowed to touch a print at an exhibition!

All image captions also include a QR code which once scanned by any smart phone (including Blackberry, iPhone, Nokia), straight away take you a webpage with all the relevant information about that place.  Perhaps the first exhibition in  Mumbai to implement this system.

The exhibition will conclude on 2nd December 2010 with lucky draws and the prizes included Diesel Tee-shirts, Fine Argentine Malbec wines and a ticket to Argentina courtesy South African Airways
