Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC) and Ventura Air Connect have initiated air taxi facility to Allahabad for benefiting pilgrims from Bhopal and Indore.
The first flight of the air taxi to the Allahabad took off on Tuesday from Raja Bhoj airport of the State capital.
The air taxi facility was inaugurated by MPSTDC Chairman Mohan Yadav and Sant Asaram Bapu, Asaram boarded the air taxi to participate in Kumbh Fair though due to poor weather in Allahabad the flight landed at Rewa airport and all the 10 passengers including Asaram were sent to their destination in private cars.
Ventura Air Connect Officer Nafees Ahmed Siddiqui informed that the first flight took off at 12:12 pm from Raja Bhoj airport. The air taxi will take around one hour and 45 minutes to reach Allahabad from Bhopal and vice-versa.
