To meet the forthcoming summer rush Air India is to operate a daily flight on the Delhi-Leh-Delhi sector from April 1. The airline currently operates three flights a week on the sector.

From April 1 the airline will operate return flights between Delhi and Leh on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The additional flights will be operated with an Airbus A-319 that can seat 122 passengers.
