The Middle East is one of the largest and most important markets for Air India and the air carrier now plans to offer flights from the Gulf region to places like South East Asia, Kathmandu, Sri Lanka, SAARC countries and New York, via New Delhi, a senior official has said.
“We are also offering Delhi hub for selling in this market where the passengers can travel from Gulf to South East Asia, Kathmandu, Sri Lanka, SAARC countries and West bound New York via India,” said Air India regional manager—Gulf, Middle East and Africa Abhay Pathak.
