Air India to launch 2nd direct flight connecting Mumbai to Coimbatore in October

Air India will introduce another direct flight from Coimbatore to Mumbai. This one-hour 35 minute non-stop flight is expected to be introduced around October 30. The city currently enjoys five non-stop flights to the commercial capital of the country.

Sources said, the new flight introduced by Air India, will fly in the afternoons. This flight is expected to depart from Mumbai at 11.05am and reach Coimbatore at 12.50pm. The flight will again leave Coimbatore at 1.25pm and reach Mumbai at 3pm. It will fly on all days except Thursday, according to airport officials.

This new flight is expected to replace the existing afternoon flight operated by Air India. The existing flight departs from Mumbai at 11am and reaches Coimbatore at 1pm. It again departs from Coimbatore at 1.55pm and reaches Mumbai at 4pm.
