Air India to introduces B777-200LR aircraft on Shanghai-India route

Air India will now operate non-stop direct services from Shanghai to Delhi and onwards to Mumbai with B777-200LR aircraft, replacing the current A330 aircraft.

Air India has announced that it has introduced the latest B777-200LR aircraft on the Shanghai-India route from 9th Nov. 2010 to operate non-stop flights to Delhi and Mumbai in view of the growing traffic between India and China.

This decision has been taken considering the growing importance of the China market which is witnessing increase in business travellers and tourists. Air India will now operate non-stop direct services from Shanghai to Delhi and onwards to Mumbai with B777-200LR aircraft, replacing the current A330 aircraft.
