According to Air India, the scheme is a part of its ongoing airport upgrade offer 'Get Up Front' where passengers flying in economy class can avail upgrade to executive class at the airport on payment of a fixed minimum amount ranging from Rs.5,000-Rs.7,000, depending on distance being travelled.
"The offer is open to all passengers holding revenue tickets in economy class, including APEX (advance purchase airfares that provide discounted prices, but with restrictions) fares. The scheme is valid till Oct 31, 2014," the airline said.
