With India being the best source market for Abu Dhabi, the Emirate's tourism and culture authority successfully concluded their four-city road shows from 7th-13th February which took place in Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi.
TCA Abu Dhabi's road show exhibited 13 stakeholders which included Etihad Airways, Emirates Palace, Lama Tours & Holidays, Rotana Hotels, Dusit Thani (Abu Dhabi), Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort, Telal Resorts, St Regis Saadiyat, Aloft Abu Dhabi, Marriott Downtown, Jannah Hotels & Resorts, Dnata and Yas Island Abu Dhabi.
Bejan Dinshaw, Country Manager, TCA Abu Dhabi India, said: "In order to inculcate India's position as the best source market for Abu Dhabi tourism, we would like to thank our trade partners for the exceptional work and their endless support last year."
"We have received an amazing response in 2016. The recorded figures of the Indian guests who checked into Abu Dhabi hotels this year is 323,388 accounting with a longer-than-average stay of 3.05 nights. The overall guest nights were recorded to be 987,738. This makes it a 15% year-over-year increase. Furthermore, we intend to increase this value in the coming year."
