AP tourism to develop Mahbubnagar Heritage Temple Tourism Circuit with Rs 9.8 crore

Developments works including illumination facilities, public toilets, overhead tank, drinking water facilities, tourist arrival centres will be taken up at 10 places

Mahbubnagar district, which has several important and ancient heritage sites in the state will now have a new Heritage Temple Tourism Circuit developed with an outlay of Rs 9.8 crore.

Heritage Temple Tourism Circuit is one such proposal which got the approval from the Central government. The Centre will pool in Rs 8.94 crore while the state government will pitch in with `85.38 lakh for the project.

Mahbubnagar is a prominent district in the Telangana region in the state. It is well connected by road and rail, the nearest airport is Shamshabad International Airport in Hyderabad, which is about 96 km away.
