The 8th Busan International Fireworks Festival is set to take place on October 26th and 27th at the famous Gwangalli Beach in the dynamic city of Busan. Began in 2005, this festival attracts about 10,000 foreign visitors every year and a total of 1 million visitors this year The festival will use 80,000 fireworks to create spectacular scenes to enthrall the spectators.

Designated as the special event by the Visit Korea Year Committee, the theme this year is “Love.” The festival will kick off with a K-Pop concert featuring some of Korean pop music’s biggest names with its new global fan base that will promote Korean pop culture followed by a beach parade and a music concert.

The next day, the festival will begin with major pre-event performances, with the participation of many citizens and students, followed by a countdown ceremony signaling the beginning of the Busan Fireworks Show.
