Flight attendants of Lufthansa, went on strike which resulted in the cancellation of about 300 flights, as said by the company.

The reason for the strike which took place in Berlin's Tegel airport, in Frankfurt and in Munich was a demand of five per cent increase in wages. Negotiations between Germany's flight attendant union UFO and the employer have not been successful as of yet.

Their agenda was intended to paralyze air traffic in Germany for more than 12 hours. The UFO has threatened to organise indefinite strikes if the demands are not met.
