147.05 lakh domestic passengers flown by Indian scheduled airlines in Q4 of 2010

The total domestic passengers carried by the Scheduled Airlines of India in the fourth quarter of 2010 – October to December, 2010 - was 147.05 lakhs. The total domestic passengers carried by the Scheduled Airlines of India in the third quarter of 2010 – July to September, 2010 - was 119.84 lakhs as per a PIB release.

The total domestic passengers carried by the Scheduled Airlines of India in the second quarter of 2010 – April to June 2010 - was 134.78 lakhs.

The total domestic passengers carried by the Scheduled Airlines of India in the first quarter of 2010 – January to March 2010 - was 118.54 lakhs

The break-up for the fourth quarter is as follows: Air India (Domestic) – 25.42 lakhs, Jet Airways –27.28 lakhs, Jet Lite – 10.85 lakhs, Kingfisher – 27.81 lakhs, Spice Jet – 20.01 lakhs, Go Air – 9.79 lakhs, IndiGo – 25.89 lakhs.

The total domestic passengers carried by the Scheduled Airlines of India in the month of December, 2010 were 52.13 lakhs.

The break-up is as follows: Air India (Domestic) – 8.90 lakhs, Jet Airways –9.24 lakhs, Jet Lite – 3.99 lakhs, Kingfisher – 9.72 lakhs, Spice Jet – 7.21 lakhs, Go Air – 3.36 lakhs, IndiGo –9.71 lakhs.

The percentage share of the carriers in the fourth quarter of 2010 was: Air India (Domestic) 17.3%, Jet Airways – 18.6%, Jet Lite – 7.4%, Kingfisher – 18.9%, Spice Jet–13.6%, Go Air – 6.7% and IndiGo – 17.6%.
