'Gujarat Tourism' announces the launch of 'Gujarat Travel Mart', a B2B travel event in Ahmedabad from the 8 - 10 February 2011
The state of Gujarat over the years has contributed towards being a large part of the India’s ever growing tourism arrival figures, both to within India destinations and overseas. The Inaugural edition of ‘Gujarat Travel Mart’, is set on a B2B platform with over 1000 registered Buyers from over 20 countries exploring business opportunities for discerning travel and tourism products, will make the event one of the most sought after travel events in the country.
The Hosted buyers are from the following countries: Netherlands, Kingdom of Bahrain, Australia, Canada, France, Greece, Israel, Japan, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, UAE, UK, USA, South Africa, etc

Indian State Tourism Departments, who form part of the country’s marketing plan shall be invited to display the country’s rich culture and heritage. Leading Travel Agents, tour operators, online travel agents, travel technology products, hotels and resorts from across the country will provide an opportunity to showcase their products and will give Gujarat an opportunity to host some of the biggest tourism & destination brands in the country.
III) INDIA OUTBOUND
Having a section for International products in the ‘Gujarat Travel Mart’ will give an international image to the event and will provide opportunity to ‘Gujarat Tourism’ to also get into bilateral tie-ups to co-promote each other’s destinations.
